Exclusive new private member’s club opens within Dublin’s landmark 3Arena

The Studio is an exclusive new private member’s club within Dublin’s landmark 3Arena. Commissioned by Live Nation Ireland, Ellis Design Studio has delivered a vibrant reimagining of the space inside the iconic 13,000-seat venue—one of the top ten busiest music arenas globally by ticket sales. 

Designed to capture the energy, anticipation and thrill of live performance, The Studio offers a premium hospitality experience that blends eclecticism, creativity and the distinctive character of Dublin.

It is Ellis Design Studio’s third private members’ club within a major arena setting, following previous commissions with Live Nation and Three Mobile—reinforcing the studio’s position as a leading specialist in high-impact, guest-driven environments for entertainment venues. 

Alan Ellis, Founder of Ellis Design Studio, said:

“The design for The Studio takes the relaxed aesthetic of a listening lounge, mixed with a vintage inflection and off-beat colour palette, and blends it with the industrial aesthetic of the building to create a space which is convivial, spirited, eclectic and joyful.” 

The 2026 SVB LIVE Conference & Exhibition – focused on elevating the live experience across sports and entertainment – is being hosted at Everton FC’s new Hill Dickinson Stadium, Oct 1st and 2nd. An Opening Night Icebreaker will kick things off at Liverpool FC’s Anfield Stadium on Sept 30th.

The Studio’s interior concept is built around a curated mix of patterns, textures and music-inspired detailing. Perforated timbers reference recording-studio craft, while record displays, poster art and vintage speakers celebrate the heritage of performance at the 3Arena. Warm lighting and tactile materials create a sense of comfortable affability, supporting a social, personality-rich environment designed for pre- and post-show hospitality. 

This project continues Ellis Design Studio’s long-standing collaboration with Live Nation, including Upstairs at the 1878 and spaces within the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre.  

The studio’s experience across arena hospitality, private members’ clubs and premium F&B environments ensures a design approach that is both operationally robust and emotionally resonant—crafted to elevate the guest experience within high-capacity  entertainment venues. 

Ellis Design Studio

The 3Arena 

The 3Arena was built on the site of the former Point Theatre. Built in 1878, the original building was used as a rail terminus for the Midland & Great Western Railway Company. The 13,000 capacity amphitheatre is consistently named one of the top 10 busiest venues in the world.
