Premium Hospitality Sales Executive 


Co-op Live is on the hunt for a positive disrupter: someone who has the unique talent of making quick, meaningful connections with people; a results driven seller who is naturally motivated to identify new sales targets and nurture client relationships in the live entertainment industry. Ideally this person will have an established network within Manchester (or the surrounding area) and can hit the ground running from day one.

Whilst this person needs to be commercially savvy, it is imperative they are able to passionately communicate our mission of becoming Europe’s best and most sustainable live entertainment venue.

The position will be based at the Co-op Live’s state-of-the-art sales centre in Manchester’s Northern Quarter, which opened in June 2021. Music is at the heart of everything we do so a passion for music and live entertainment is a must.

Premium Hospitality Sales Manager 


The Premium Hospitality Sales Manager reports to the Head of Premium Hospitality Sales and will play a key role in selling annual commitments for premium membership products at Co-op Live.

The position will be based at Co-op Live’s state-of-the-art sales centre in Manchester’s Northern Quarter, which opened in June 2021. Music is at the heart of everything we do so a passion for music and live entertainment is a must.

Whilst a background in hospitality or luxury sales is preferred, we’re open to speaking to anyone who considers themselves a natural born seller with the passion and work ethic to progress long term at Co-op Live and OVG.

Senior Partnership Manager


  • Develop, maintain, and manage excellent effective partner relationships 
  • Create partnership strategies to manage and deliver the partnership rights 
  • Establish and maintain excellent internal and stakeholder management 
  • Produce partnership measuring tracking documents, reports and presentations

Becci Thomson, Head of Premium Sales, Co-op Live, joined a panel session on The Future of Premium Seating at the 2021 edition of ALSD International. Becci is also a member of the ALSD International Advisory Board, set up to discuss industry challenges, best practice and lessons learned.

About Co-op Live

The new music-focused venue, Co-op Live, in Manchester aims to be the best arena in Europe. Designed for music, this state of the art, £265m, 23,500-capacity venue, will bring the biggest and best acts to Manchester.

It will be the most expensive arena to be built in Europe. It will set new standards for hospitality and the premium venue experience. This venue is designed to put fans, artists, and premium guests first, offering an unrivalled experience. Co-op Live will provide a range of premium lounges, clubs, suites, and unique food and drink facilities.   

Co-op Live is located on the Etihad Campus and is led by Los Angeles based Oak View Group (OVG), with Manchester-based City Football Group (CFG), the global operator of football and sports-related business, as an equal joint venture partner in the venue. One of the most famous music artists globally, Harry Styles, is an investor in the venue and the Co-op is the Naming Rights Partner.

Construction began in November 2020 and the arena is scheduled to open in December 2023.

Co-op Live highlights include:

  • £365m investment to create the UK’s biggest arena and one of the most sustainable venues in Europe.
  • Up to 23,500 capacity
  • c.120-150 events per annum – including music, comedy, family entertainment, sport and high-profile awards
  • 32 bars and restaurants within the venue creating an unrivalled destination and customer experience

Co-op Live’s smart ‘bowl’ design means it is big but intimate with cutting edge visual technology, incredible acoustics and 32 bars, restaurants, lounges and club spaces.

The construction project, the single-largest in the city, will give the regional economy a much-needed boost following the devastating impacts of the Covid pandemic and will boost the local economy by over £1.5bn over the next 20 years. From locally sourced construction materials to zero waste to landfill, solar panels and rainwater harvesting, Co-op Live will be doing more to use less and leave better.

The OVG team currently has 11 arena projects under development globally, with scores of sold-out shows at Climate Pledge Arena and UBS Arena since opening last year, which showcase its strength in accessing the world’s best content.

OVG’s Moody Center in Austin, Texas, which is on track to open this year, has already sold $15mm in ticket sales for upcoming events with iconic artists such as Willie Nelson, The Eagles, and Justin Bieber.
