Aston Villa Hospitality Redevelopment Case Study
20.20 transformed Aston Villa FC’s premium hospitality offer across seven unique spaces for the Club’s 150th Anniversary Season. The brief centred on developing fine dining and exclusive experiences that maximised operational efficiency within Villa Park’s constraints.
The design narrative weaves in the stadium’s deep architectural and English football history, honouring its status as a Football League founder’s home. The Chairman’s Suite and The Trophy Suite deliver ultra-exclusive, art deco-inspired fine dining with black marble and brushed gold accents.
A key restoration is The Oak Room, inspired by the original first-ever stadium restaurant. It balances contemporary design with history through Italian mosaics, original stained-glass, and showcases of trophies like the 1982 European Cup. Meanwhile, The Aston offers intimate dining, drawing inspiration from a Jacobean mansion with intricate ceilings and unique tapestry wall hangings. This reimagining aimed to create modern, beautiful spaces that both inspire new memories and tell the stories of this historic club.
