Forward Associates recruit culinary director for developing Nordic business

Venue specialist Forward Associates, who helped shape the guest experience at the new Tottenham Hotspur stadium, has recruited a Culinary Director, Neil Fox.

Neil brings more than two decades of hospitality experience to Forward Associates. His career has taken him from London to Sydney and now the Nordics, where he spent two years as the head chef at Rivoli – an iconic French brasserie in Helsinki.

Still based in Finland, Neil offers direct support to Forward Associates’ burgeoning business in the region. His arrival is part of the company’s plans for a permanent office in the area. His formative years were spent in fine dining, learning under esteemed chefs, including Chris Galvin, John Torrode, Graham Garrett, Lee Purcell and Serge Dansereau, to name just a few.

Since the turn of the century, Neil’s work has extended far beyond the kitchen. He has shaped a number of successful contract catering projects at major leisure venues and has been instrumental in the creation and launch of many high street concepts, including Graze, a thriving bar and chophouse in Bristol.

This ability to work on big and small projects is testament to his ability to stay relevant in a fast-moving industry and, as such, he is always keen to learn about different cuisines, new techniques and the latest trends. It is this desire to grow that makes Neil such a great fit for Forward Associates.

Neil commented:

I am a firm believer in teamwork. I like to learn. Being focused and attentive helps me create fantastic guest experiences. From experience comes knowledge and from this, we can all grow.
