AS Roma announces appointment of new Chief Revenue Officer

AS Roma, the Italian Serie A football club, has announced the appointment of Ryan Norys as the club’s new Chief Revenue Officer.

Ryan joins AS Roma from WME Sports, bringing with him over 14 years of experience working with some of the most renowned sports brands and athletes in the world.

Pietro Berardi, AS Roma’s Corporate Chief Executive, said:

Ryan’s appointment is another vital strategic piece in the club’s ambitions to become best-in-class in all aspects of the business. He will now oversee our efforts to both maximise our existing commercial possibilities and to explore new revenue streams for the club, strengthening the financial situation in order to enable future growth in all areas.

Norys comes to the Giallorossi after gaining considerable experience in various major sports, from the New York Yankees to the Los Angeles Dodgers, and from the Miami Dolphins to Manchester City.

Norys said:

I’m delighted to be joining the AS Roma family. This is an historic club with an exceptional vision for the future and an ownership that has immediately made clear the extent of their ambitions.

Few, if any, football clubs in the world have the commercial potential of AS Roma, a club that unites a fanbase renowned for its unrivalled passion with a city admired worldwide for its beauty and history.
