SoFi Stadium and Uber’s online food ordering and delivery platform, Uber Eats, partnered to bring order-ahead concessions to fans at SoFi Stadium. SoFi Stadium will be the largest implementation of an Uber Eats program at a sports venue to-date. Uber Eats’ previous expansion into sports has included MLB, NBA and MLS venues.
Beginning September 10 for the Los Angeles Chargers vs Miami Dolphins game at SoFi Stadium, concession stands throughout the state-of-the-art building will now feature a dedicated lane for guests who pre-order food and drinks using the Uber Eats app.
The experience will help fans avoid lines and enable them to watch more of the action on the field, enhancing the overall guest experience.
Equipped with green Uber Eats signage and brand ambassadors ready to assist, Uber Eats pick-up locations within the stadium are: sections 200, 300, and 400/500. This service will also be available at other SoFi Stadium events, including concerts and other live entertainment events.
How to use the Uber Eats app at SoFi Stadium:
- When inside SoFi Stadium, open the Uber Eats app. Available in the App Store or Google Play.
- Select the seating section that you’re in, and you will be shown all the dining options you can order from.
- When the order is ready, you will receive a notification to skip the line and pick it up.
- Head to the dedicated Uber Eats lane at the selected concession stand, so you spend less time waiting in line and more time watching the action on the field.
