DLR Group has finalised the design for the $400 million modernization of Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida.
The landmark transformation repositions one of Florida’s most storied venues as a future-ready, multipurpose destination for sports, entertainment, and civic events.
Commissioned by the City of Orlando in partnership with Orange County and key community stakeholders including Florida Citrus Sports, the project delivers a bold, forward-looking vision designed to benefit generations of Orlando residents and visitors.
The 650,000 square foot renovation expands seating capacity to over 65,000 and introduces a sweeping range of new and upgraded fan amenities across every level of the venue.
The 2026 SVB LIVE Conference & Exhibition – focused on elevating the live experience across sports and entertainment – is being hosted at Everton FC’s spectacular new Hill Dickinson Stadium, Oct 1st and 2nd, with an Opening Night Icebreaker at Liverpool FC’s iconic Anfield Stadium on Sept 30th.
North Endzone
A new North Endzone Tower encloses the seating bowl, connects previously bifurcated suite and terrace levels, and adds escalators, premium seating, and a North Endzone Club.
It fundamentally changes how fans circulate and experience the stadium. The project fully renovates and expands the Terrace Level concourse, increasing capacity and adding upgraded dining and amenity offerings.
Retractable seating in the south lower bowl allows for a stage pocket to increase concert capacity and facilitates rapid conversion, while new and renovated suites, redesigned arrival sequences, and stadium-wide audiovisual upgrades raise the bar for every guest.
A new façade with integrated programmable lighting gives the stadium a bold identity that reflects the energy of Orlando and the spirit of every event it hosts.
DLR Group Principal and Sports Design Leader Ryan Freeland, AIA, said:
“Our design doesn’t just modernize infrastructure; it reimagines the entire experience from the moment you arrive at the stadium to the final moment you leave.
“Every decision, from the expanded premium offerings to the new North Endzone Tower, was made to amplify the energy of this place, extend its life, and make it more competitive on a national and international stage.”
Camping World Stadium annually hosts marquee events such as the Citrus Bowl, Pop-Tarts Bowl, Florida Blue Florida Classic, and EDC Orlando.
The modernized venue is designed to enhance those iconic events while attracting new fan experiences.
The design delivers a maximized seating mix, strengthened operational flexibility, and more competitive hospitality, positioning the stadium to pursue a wider range of sports, entertainment, and international programming than ever before.
The investment reflects a shared commitment between the City of Orlando, Orange County, and the broader community to preserve the stadium’s legacy while positioning it for long-term success.
The modernization aims to increase economic impact, create new jobs, and strengthen the quality of life for Central Florida residents, reinforcing Camping World Stadium’s role as both a civic anchor and an economic engine for the region.
