Roig Arena has signed professional sound systems specialist d&b audiotechnik as an Operational Partner.
As part of this collaboration, the arena in Valencia, Spain has been equipped with a permanent d&b sound system designed to deliver a world-class acoustic experience across the wide range of concerts, sporting events and international shows hosted at the venue.
The installation incorporates d&b audiotechnik’s SL, A and CL Series systems, and its versatility has already been demonstrated at two highly demanding events: Valencia Basket’s second Liga title celebration and Rod Stewart’s concert on 30 June, the British artist’s only performance in Spain in 2026 and the first major international show at the venue to use d&b audiotechnik’s permanent solution.
Adaptative technology for every venue configuration
With a capacity of up to 20,000 people for concerts and more than 15,000 spectators for sporting events, Roig Arena is a highly versatile venue whose configuration varies depending on the event.
To meet these requirements, the arena has incorporated a combination of systems that ensure uniform sound coverage throughout the entire venue.

“The addition of this d&b solution represents a further step in that commitment, enhancing sonic performance and allowing us to guarantee a consistent, high-quality listening experience from every seat in the arena.”
The 2026 SVB LIVE Conference & Exhibition – focused on elevating the live experience across sports and entertainment – is being hosted at Everton FC’s new Hill Dickinson Stadium, Oct 1st and 2nd. An Opening Night Icebreaker will kick things off in style at Liverpool FC’s iconic Anfield Stadium on Sept 30th.
The d&b audiotechnik installation forms part of the venue’s permanent infrastructure and remains integrated within the roof structure when not in use.
This significantly reduces event setup times, streamlines operations and maximises the flexibility of the space.
Coverage is further optimised through ArrayProcessing, which adapts sound distribution to the venue’s specific configuration for each event.
A custom-developed rigging solution has enabled seamless integration of the system and a rapid installation process, minimising intervention time in a venue of high technical complexity.

The installation also includes d&b audiotechnik’s latest-generation amplification, designed to deliver maximum performance with lower energy consumption.
Upcoming events include concerts by artists such as Pet Shop Boys, Chayanne, Judas Priest and Bryan Adams, as well as top-level sporting competitions including Project B, the new travelling international basketball league.
