Hill Dickinson Stadium has been shortlisted for two major honours as part of a strong package of nominations for Everton at this year’s Football Business Awards.
Everton’s new waterfront home, which officially opened in August last year, is in contention for the prestigious Best Football Club Stadium Experience award. The category recognises excellence across the full supporter journey on matchdays and beyond, including catering, technology, staffing, stadium tours and the overall fan experience.
Hill Dickinson Stadium has also been shortlisted for Best Brand Activation Involving Football (Premier League & Championship Clubs). The nomination recognises the creative use of the stadium’s internal and external spaces to tell the story of Everton’s heritage and the historic docklands surrounding the site, celebrating the Club’s deep connection with the city and its waterfront setting.
In total, Everton has received four nominations at this year’s Football Business Awards ceremony, which will take place in London in May.
Further recognition comes in the Best Club Marketing Campaign (Premier League & Top Tier European Clubs) category for the rebranding of Goodison Park and the launch of Everton Women’s first season at the historic stadium. The nomination acknowledges the work undertaken to transform The Grand Old Lady ahead of the team’s relocation, creating a distinct visual identity for what is now the largest dedicated women’s football stadium in England.
The 2026 SVB LIVE Conference & Exhibition – with a focus on elevating the live experience through pillars including Fan & Premium Experience – is being hosted at Everton’s spectacular Hill Dickinson Stadium, October 1st and 2nd, with an Opening Night Icebreaker at Liverpool FC’s iconic Anfield on September 30th.

Everton’s Forever Blue Membership and Rewards scheme has also been shortlisted in the same category, recognising the Club’s efforts to deepen supporter engagement and provide new benefits for fans through a refreshed membership offering.
Innovation within Hill Dickinson Stadium’s premium hospitality spaces has also been recognised, with a bespoke algorithm designed to deliver complex dining operations across the four distinct restaurant environments within Dock On 1 earning a nomination for Best Use of Technology in Football.
Beyond the Football Business Awards, Hill Dickinson Stadium has also been shortlisted for a Regeneration Impact Award at next month’s Sunday Express Construction and Property Awards, recognising developments that deliver lasting economic and social benefits for the future. The ceremony will take place in Manchester in April.
The stadium has also been officially shortlisted for Stadium of the Year 2025 in the world’s largest public vote dedicated to sports architecture, organised by StadiumDB.com. The annual poll invites fans and communities across the globe to vote for the best stadium completed in the previous year.
Since opening its doors, Hill Dickinson Stadium has already received significant industry recognition. The project was crowned Project of the Year at the TheStadiumBusiness Design & Development Awards 2025 and also won Outstanding Development of the Year at the Liverpool City Region Property Awards 2025.
These latest nominations continue to highlight the stadium’s growing reputation as one of the most innovative and ambitious developments in world football.
