Kotobuki Seating opens new London showroom

The Kotobuki Seating Group has unveiled its new spectator seating showroom in the heart of Clerkenwell in London.

The dynamic showroom opened with a bang, as dozens of industry professionals, architects and designers were invited in to explore the company’s offerings.

Members of the Kotobuki team were on hand to show-off the latest trends in spectator design, and help guests explore innovative solutions to elevate their projects.

The new London facility is poised to revolutionise the way venues and institutions envision and procure seating solutions for stadiums, arenas, auditoriums, theatres, lecture halls, cinemas and more.

With a focus on versatility, comfort and durability, the extensive range of seating options on show in Clerkenwell is meticulously designed to meet the demands of modern-day spaces.

Speaking at the event, Keiko Sutton, CEO, Kotobuki Seating, said:

“When you hear the word Kotobuki, it is the umbrella group covering Audience Systems, Ferco and Interkal. The word Kotobuki has a Japanese note to it, and it means “longevity.” We have been around for 110 years, but when you add all of the companies together, it is over 350 years.

“We have more than 800 people all around the world supporting your needs in public seating in theatre, schools, cinema and everywhere else public seating is required. This is a very important day for us because we have created a space where all of our companies come together to show you our products.”

Audience Systems is currently providing the new Co-op Live arena in Manchester with 23,000 seats and has been responsible for the seating in many major projects across the UK, including Swansea Arena.

Cathy Warwick, Specification Manager, Kotobuki Seating, added:

“This is the first showroom of its kind in the world, where we have brought the entire Kotobuki Seating Group together. It is a one stop shop for everything you need, and we’re absolutely thrilled that you’re sharing this special moment with us.”

“With this new showroom, we aim to inspire designers, architects, contractors and end clients, offering them first-hand experience of our comprehensive range of seating solutions across all global project sectors.

“Through continuous innovation, we aim to reduce our environmental impact, conserve resources, and embrace sustainable practices across our entire group operations. We strive to exceed regulatory requirements and work towards environmental conservation in collaboration with our partners.”
