Following its initial 50% acquisition in 2021, Arena Group, a leading global provider of event production services, has announced that it has acquired the remaining 50% of Aztec Shaffer.
Arena Group now has full ownership of Aztec Shaffer, which comprises two US businesses, Aztec Events & Tents, which supplies products including party/wedding tents as well as tables, chairs, linens, table-top items, dance floors and décor to a diversified customer base, and Shaffer Sports & Events, which predominantly supplies temporary infrastructure to major sporting events across the US.
The initial acquisition of Aztec Shaffer was a strategic move for Arena Group, both to expand their US party rental business into new markets, and to further strengthen their presence in high end sporting events, including golf, motorsports and horseracing.
This additional purchase gives Arena Group full control over Aztec Shaffer and will allow them to continue to strategically grow and strengthen both businesses.
Aztec Shaffer now forms a critical part of Arena’s existing US operations, as well as their continued expansion plans in the territory.
