Everton and The Parker Company announce ‘Meet the Buyer’ event

Everton Football Club has partnered with global sports procurement agency The Parker Company as the internal fit-out of the Club’s new stadium ramps up.

The Parker Company will manage the sourcing and delivery of the various fixtures, fittings, furniture and operating supplies needed to furnish the Blue’s new 52,888-capacity waterfront home.

As part of the initial procurement process, Everton and Parker are inviting local businesses to a special ‘Meet the Buyer’ event at the Headline Suite at INNSiDE Liverpool on Thursday June 29th, hosted with the support of the Liverpool Chamber of Commerce.

Attendees will be given an update on development of the stadium, before representatives of the Club’s procurement team outline their strategy and needs.

  • Premium Furniture

The construction of Everton’s impressive new 52,888-capacity home is well underway and the build, managed by construction partner Laing O’Rourke, is fast approaching the internal fit out stage.

ALSD International 2023 is being hosted at Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium, October 9-10. Optimising revenue through New Builds, Renovations & Service Expansions is the key focus of this industry-leading event, with architecture & design, fan experience, hospitality, premium seating, sustainability and technology taking centre stage. Everton’s Vicky Jaycock a confirmed speaker and a member of the ALSD International Advisory Board.

Suppliers are duly being invited to the Meet the Buyer event to hear from the Club’s procurement team about their thought processes and what they are looking to buy in terms of fixtures, fittings, furniture, etc.

As part of the event, guests will also be able to submit expressions of interest and network with staff from Everton and other attendees.

Guests can also meet with representatives of Everton’s ‘ALL’ team. ALL brings together the bars, restaurants and experiences that will be available at the Club’s new home – presenting a revolutionary re-set of traditional football hospitality.

The full agenda for the morning is as follows:

10am – 10.30am – Arrivals and breakfast (tea, coffee and pastries).

10.30am – Welcome and introduction from a member of Everton’s Stadium Development team.

10.40am – An overview of the stadium development to date.

11am – Everton’s procurement strategy with Paul Goodwin (Director of Procurement), Claire Crosby (Senior Procurement Manager) and Tom Roche (Projects Director – The Parker Company).

11.10am – A more detailed look at what Everton, through the Parker Company, are looking to purchase.

11.20am – Expressions of Interest and Q&A.

11.30am – 12pm – Networking and depart.
