Melbourne & Olympic Parks and Tennis Australia call on innovative caterers

The Melbourne & Olympic Parks precinct is Australia’s centre stage for live sports, music and entertainment. Home to six world-class venues: Rod Laver Arena, Margaret Court Arena, John Cain Arena, AAMI Park, Kia Arena and CENTREPIECE at Melbourne Park.

The Melbourne and Olympic Parks Trust (MOPT) and Tennis Australia (TA) collaborate closely on the delivery of the precinct’s major event, the Australian Open. Year-round, MOPT works with a range of stakeholders, including professional sporting clubs and leagues, and entertainment promoters, to deliver a diverse program of events across the precinct’s venues.

MOPT and TA are calling on capable, experienced and innovative caterers to provide catering services at the Melbourne & Olympic Parks precinct through a two-stage procurement process. For part one, MOPT and TA are seeking Expressions of Interest from interested parties. The EOI information is available here, with responses due by 21 April 2023. Please note that participation in the EOI is a pre-requisite for inclusion at the next stage.

Contracts are on offer, for Melbourne Park – which includes Rod Laver Arena, Margaret Court Arena, John Cain Arena, Kia Arena and function and events space CENTREPIECE at Melbourne Park – and AAMI Park. Invitees are welcome to respond to one or both contract opportunities.
