AS Monaco launches $ASM Fan Token

AS Monaco has officially launched the $ASM Fan Token™ on the application this week. This digital asset will enable fans to participate in club consultations and earn rewards.

AS Monaco (ASM) fans can now purchase the $ASM Fan Token™ on the application as of today, Tuesday 18th January 2022, during the “Fan Token Offering”, the first phase of the sale of this innovative digital asset.

It will span until Saturday January 22nd (15:00 CET), across 3 stages which will allow all people wishing to participate in consultations initiated by the Club, to obtain $ASM Fan Tokens at the fixed price of 2€/unit:

  • Stage 1: From Tuesday January 18th (13:00) to Friday January 21st (12:59) with $ASM Fan Tokens™ purchases capped at 5 per person.
  • Stage 2: From Friday January 21st (13:00) to Friday January 21st (14:59), with ASM$ Fan Tokens™ purchases capped at 15 per person.
  • Stage 3: Friday January 21st (15:00) to Saturday January 22nd (15:00), with $ASM Fan Tokens™ purchases capped at 30 per person.

In total, 300,000 $ASM Fan Token™ will be released during these 5 days. From January 28th, the $ASM Fan Token™ will be then “listed” and will become tradable worldwide.

$ASM Fan Token™ holders able to choose the special patch worn against Paris SG

$ASM Fan Token™ holders will very quickly have the opportunity to make their votes count as two votes will be held by the end of January.

The first vote will begin this Tuesday January 18th and will take place until February 1st, with a consultation launched on the special patch that the AS Monaco players will wear on their uniforms against Paris SG (March 20th). For this, the artist Nairone Defives, who has collaborated with prestigious brands and high-profile artists, has designed 3 sublime models that all pay tribute to the Red & White supporters.

From January 28th, $ASM Fan Token™ holders will have their say on the choice of the historic jersey that AS Monaco will reissue in a limited edition next season.

In addition to the possibility of taking part in some of the Club’s consultation, voting will allow Monaco fans to win great rewards, such as VIP access to home games or unique “money can’t buy” experiences. Games and quizzes will also provide surprises for the winners.

1 $ASM Fan Token™ offered to all season-ticket holders

In order to reward the loyalty of its season-ticket holders, AS Monaco will be offering each of them their first $ASM Fan Token™ (non-exchangeable).

Through this initiative, AS Monaco is offering a new and engaging experience to its fans, while reaffirming its positioning in the field of digital innovation and new technologies.

What is $ASM?

$ASM is the name of AS Monaco’s only official Fan Token™. The Fan Token™ is a digital asset that never expires, and gives you the right to vote on certain official Club decisions, as well as unprecedented access to your team and to have incredible, never-before-seen experiences.

AS Monaco will therefore use the app as a platform for Fan Tokens™ holders to participate in certain choices made by the club by giving them decision-making power. In the past, Fan Tokens™ holders at other clubs have been able to vote on topics such as the design of a jersey or the way that the team bus is dressed, the team slogan, and even the starting XI.
