UK-based Scannervision (SVi-technologies) has launched the very latest cutting-edge high resolution digital fine pitch LED screens, ideal for Sports Arenas, Conference & Event Facilities, Retail Outlets, TV Studios, Sports Bars, and indeed any kind of indoor location.
Scannervision/SVi first introduced the media industry to electronic screens in the mid 1980’s, with signature installations at Piccadilly Circus, London, Shaftesbury Square, Belfast, O’Connell Street, Dublin and St Patrick’s Bridge, Cork. This was quickly followed by global projects both in professional sports and commercial applications.
SVi now introduces the very latest cutting-edge high resolution digital fine pitch LED screens. This solution is ideal for Shopping Centres/Malls, Retail Outlets, TV Studios, Sports Arenas, Transport Hubs, Casinos, Sports Bars, Hotel and Commercial/Business receptions, and indeed any number of indoor locations.
With more than twice the brightness and impact of LCD, SVi offers a full range of options from as fine as a 0.93mm pitch to 1.87mm.
Perfect high resolution picture quality with optional sound allows SVi to include a range of HD 1080 x 1920 models specifically for television style applications such as Zoom conferencing with screen sizes up to 163”.
Lightweight and only 32mm deep, these screens can be either wall mounted, suspended or free standing.
The increasing development of LED digital technology results in SVi being to offer a commercially competitive and higher performance option to existing broadcast mediums.
Full Ultra HD
A key product for the sports industry is a full ultra HD screen with optional sound, which SVi has specifically designed for multiple use whether as a scoring and video replay facility or as an advertising and information screen.
The screen size is approximately 21m2 with a screen resolution based on a LED 1.56mm pixel: 2160 pixels x 3840 pixels = > 8.3 million pixels.
The new technology offers:
Brightness > 1,200 NIT to maximise impact in the brightest facilities but with automatic control to avoid glare. This is substantially higher than LCD and there are no bezels between panels with a specifically engineered face so no visible joins
Integrated control system for 4G and 5G input and multi-zone screen mapping
Installation either wall mount with front service or suspended with rear or front option
Screen depth only 32mm and weight only 450 Kilos
Power average load around 20 amps only
Picture quality 4x higher than most home TV’s with 1080 x 1920 HD screens
Light weight to minimise installation costs
Frame refresh rate of > 3,840 Hz so no flickering or shadow effects and perfect reproduction when photographed or videoed
The solution is also available with options such as the 1.25mm or 1.87mm if required, ensuring the optimum choice relative to venue size. Finance is available as 3 or 5 year purchase leases at competitive rates.
