Leyton Orient announces the launch of O’s Pitchside Restaurant

Following last week’s announcement from England’s Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, regarding the Government’s refreshed COVID-19 guidelines, Sky Bet League Two side, Leyton Orient Football Club, announced the launch of the O’s Pitchside Restaurant, which was sold-out less than 48hrs later.

The unique event offers supporters the chance to get back into the familiar setting of the Breyer Group Stadium, but in a new and exciting way.

Diners will sit pitchside in E10, with three delicious courses and drinks – in a first opportunity to see the ground since lockdown restrictions eased.

With the launch evening of Leyton Orient’s Pitchside Restaurant confirmed for July 11, CEO, Danny Macklin, said:

During the early stages of lockdown, we devised the idea to provide an opportunity for Leyton Orient fans and local residents to enjoy a pitchside meal at The Breyer Group Stadium. Upon collecting fan feedback there was no doubt the appetite was there.

The Pitchside dining experience, which will cost £25 per adult and £20 per under-14, is now open to table bookings from groups of friends of up to 6 people OR families of any size. This strict rule is just one of many COVID-19 related safety procedures that the Club has put in place to ensure the health of its guests and staff.

The initial launch evening will be hosted on Saturday 11 July and will be the perfect opportunity to enjoy a meal out, possibly for the first time in weeks, with loved ones and friends.

Sponsorship opportunities

Leyton Orient has also unveiled sponsorship opportunities for the South Stand at Breyer Group Stadium.

The iconic stands at The Breyer Group Stadium provide a fantastic opportunity for any company looking to utilise the extensive and unrivalled exposure to visitors, television viewers and the East End public alike.

Package includes:

  • Exclusive naming rights of The Tommy Johnson South Stand
  • Branding across the stand and directional stadium signage
  • Branding across the following: club website, commercial brochure, tickets, e-newsletter, programme and team sheets.
  • 30 x Hospitality spaces in the 1881 Suite
  • 150 x league match day tickets in The Tommy Johnson Stand to be used during the season
  • 1 x Match sponsorship, which includes 10 hospitality spaces in the 1881
  • 2 x Mascot packages
  • Free room hire of the Boardroom for Management meetings (4 times per season)

Renamed after legendary O’s forward Tommy Johnston in 2007, the South Stand provides an excellent view for all who sit here thanks to its raised stature. Home to some of Orient’s most passionate fans, the O’s often shoot towards this stand in the second half, meaning some of the most dramatic moments of the game could take place right in front of you. Underneath the stand is a popular supporters bar, along with the usual catering facilities and toilets.
