Leicester Tigers launch Lounge 502

Leicester Tigers rugby club has launched a unique and innovative match day experience for key influencers in the Midlands area at their Welford Road ground.

Lounge 502 is an exclusive space for introducing clients and making new, valuable connections within the city. It is an unrivalled opportunity for members of the business community to connect with like-minded individuals in a high-end – yet relaxed – environment.

This intimate club promises to deliver a luxurious but informal backdrop to the action on the pitch at Welford Road. Membership includes the club’s chef’s superb grazing menu, complimentary bar with professional bar-tender, maître d’, terraced area, padded seating platform and incredible views of the rugby.

The Club will be limited to 30 memberships only, along with 4 additional places each match day to invite decision makers from national companies.

In regards to the name, Lounge 502, Molly Smith, Senior Account Executive at Leicester Tigers, explained:

We drew our inspiration for the naming of Lounge 502 from someone who fully epitomises Leicester Tigers, the late David Matthews. As Leicester Tigers’ record appearance holder at 502 caps, David was not only a player but also captain, coach, president and director.

 

The experience in Lounge 502 is unlike any other and is certainly not to be missed.

This intimate club promises to deliver a luxurious but informal backdrop to the action on the pitch at Welford Road. A flexible arrival time means that guests can arrive at their leisure and be welcomed by their Leicester Tigers’ dedicated host, who will personalise each guest’s experience. A professional bar tender will cater to guests from the complimentary bar, while a choice of relaxed seating will be on offer in an open-plan lounge with bi-fold doors opening to a terraced area.

Guests will be kept well connected and online with free Wi-Fi and charging points at their disposal. Guests can choose to watch the match from inside the lounge or use their own premium padded seating directly outside.

At half time, guests will be provided with an informal grazing menu, allowing them to enjoy superb food, whilst strengthening connections with other members.

Lounge 502 promises to deliver a new experience in matchday hospitality; the opportunity to mix with a group of people with mutual benefits in a high-end, but low key setting.
