Martin Robinson to retire from day-to-day role at KSS

After 25 years as a Director of KSS, 23 of them as Managing Director, Martin Robinson will be retiring from his day-to-day role in the practice at the end of September 2019.

Whilst Martin fully intends to enjoy his newfound ‘freedom’, he will be keeping in touch with the business and will continue to provide advice and guidance wherever his skills are needed.

Martin joined KSS in 1994, just three years after the practice was formed. At that time there were around 20 staff working out of a basement office in Lower Regent Street.

In 1996, Martin took over day-to-day management of the business, allowing David Keirle and the other Directors to concentrate on clients and projects.

After announcing his retirement, Martin said:

I am proud of my achievements and grateful for the privilege of helping a fledgling start-up develop into a well-run and highly respected business. There have been a few bumps in the road, but through careful stewardship, we have steadily grown the practice to over 100 staff and made the top 40 in the AJ100. I joined KSS because of its ethos and the fact that people, as individuals, are at the core of every decision it makes. I leave having made many friends for life and with huge respect for what all of you have achieved in making KSS the highly regarded practice it is today.

Everyone at KSS and indeed at Sports Venue Business would like to wish Martin a very happy retirement.
