Wolverhampton Racecourse appoints three new leading caterers

Wolverhampton Racecourse and Conference Centre have appointed Mahirs Experience, Five Rivers Outdoor and Johal’s as its three South Asian events partners.

The exclusive deal with the Midland’s leading and premier South Asian caterers signifies the venue’s intention to re-establish itself once again as a premier venue in the region for South Asian weddings and events.

As well as being one of Britain’s busiest racecourses hosting over 80 horse racing fixtures across the year, Wolverhampton Racecourse and Conference Centre is a highly versatile venue with a number of rooms and suites available for both private and corporate events with most notable space The Ringside Suite accommodating over 600 guests.

Tom Mills, General Manager at Wolverhampton Racecourse and Conference Centre, said:

I am delighted to announce a new partnership with the three biggest and most popular Asian caterers in the Midlands. Families choosing to enjoy their wedding celebrations in the Ringside Suite at the prestigious racecourse will now be able to select packages from either Five Rivers Outdoor, Johal Catering or Mahirs Experience.

The trilogy of caterers will ensure that we can offer options for all Asian events and especially the wedding market. As a well- established and popular venue right in the heart of the Midlands, it is only right that we choose such big names to become our catering partners. Everyone at the racecourse is very excited to be re-launching ourselves into such a fabulous scene and we look forward to working with the teams at Five Rivers, Johal’s and Mahirs.

Harvir Sahota, Managing Director of Mahirs Experience, said:

The team and I are looking forward to further developing and strengthening our relationship with Wolverhampton Racecourse. The racecourse has some fantastic flexible and versatile hire spaces and is able to accommodate a large number of guests for both private and corporate events.
