Arena Racing Company launches YourVENUE

Arena Racing Company (ARC) has announced the launch of YourVENUE, a new events and hospitality brand linking the group’s sixteen racecourse venues around the UK.

ARC operates venues including Doncaster, Chepstow, Lingfield Park, Newcastle and Royal Windsor Racecourses, and is able to cater for all types of event, from weddings and parties to business meetings and conferences.

The Group was created in 2012, and has pushed forward with innovative ideas, new race series and acquiring more racecourses ever since.

For the first time, all sixteen racecourse sites will now fall under a single brand, enabling customers and businesses to find their ideal venue from a central hub at www.arenaracingcompany.co.uk/your-venue.

Director of Marketing at ARC, Rachel White, commented:

Our sixteen racecourses offer a level of flexibility for events that many others simply cannot match.  Whether you’re looking for a venue for your dream wedding or hosting a conference for hundreds of delegates, we have the spaces available.

Through launching YourVENUE, we wanted to tie all of our locations together so that we could broaden out from sixteen local markets to offer potential customers a place to consider all of our venues together.

We know that with our expertise in delivering live events and the picturesque settings of many of our racecourses along with the flexibility of our facilities, there is almost nothing that you we wouldn’t be able to host.

The Chairman of Arena Racing Company also hailed the opening of the new Hilton Garden Inn Doncaster Racecourse late last month, at an exclusive event that marked its arrival in Doncaster.

The hotel hosted an invitation-only Grand Opening party, compered by Simon Morykin of Hallam FM, which saw VIPs and business leaders come together – including the Mayor of Doncaster, Ros Jones; David Thorpe, Chairman of the Arena Racing Group; and Graham Dodd, Managing Director for Development, Hilton UK & Ireland. Guests were treated to live entertainment and guided tours of the hotel, as well as a sneak peek of the property’s conferencing and events facilities.

Speaking at the event, Chairman of Arena Racing Company, David Thorpe, said:

The arrival of the Hilton Garden Inn here at Doncaster Racecourse marks a major landmark for this historic site. With an asset such as this here, we know Doncaster Racecourse will continue to grow, attracting more visitors and businesses and, in turn, benefiting the local economy.

Louise O’Reilly, General Manager of the Hilton Garden Inn Doncaster Racecourse, said:

We’re really excited to have marked the hotel’s arrival in Doncaster with this special celebration event. It provided us with a great chance to showcase what we’ve got to offer both the leisure and corporate markets, and to demonstrate what a fantastic new asset the hotel is for Doncaster and the surrounding areas.

The 154-guest room hotel offers panoramic views of the racecourse, providing guests with an unrivalled setting to view the sporting action. It also boasts conferencing and event facilities with a capacity of up to 1,200 delegates, as well as a restaurant and bar, 24/7 Pavilion Pantry, a Business Centre and Fitness Centre fitted with the latest equipment.
