Sheffield FlyDSA Arena introduces new SIV Live app

Sheffield’s premier venue, the FlyDSA Arena, has undergone a digital transformation, installing free Wi-Fi, and introducing the new ‘SIV Live’ mobile app.

The new app, powered by LiveStyled, will enhance the experience for people in the arena, giving them the ability to order food and beverage, use speedy ‘app only’ collection lanes at concession outlets and take part in competitions.

The Sheffield venue has seen over 7,000,000 attendees pass through its doors since opening in 1991. The arena is home to the Sheffield Steelers Ice Hockey team and is used by the biggest headline music and entertainment acts playing in the city. Upcoming gigs include The Arctic Monkeys playing four sold-out homecoming shows.

Dom Stokes, Head of SIV Live said:

The new SIV Live App is the essential companion to anyone visiting the arena. Customers can pre-pay for food and drinks, then take advantage of the dedicated fast track pick up points as the newly refreshed concourse catering stalls.

Outside of event times, the app will have the latest news and updates on events taking place in the arena, and offers a quick and easy way for people to book tickets and enter exclusive competitions.

It’s been a pleasure working with the team at LiveStyled, their knowledge of the sport and entertainment venue space has helped us develop a fantastic app on their platform giving us the opportunity to gather a wealth of insights, which can be used to further improve the experience for our visitors.

LiveStyled CEO, Adam Goodyer – who is one of the 40+ industry expert speakers taking part in Europe’s first Premium Seat event, ALSD International – said:

It is a pleasure to be working with the fantastic team at the FlyDSA Arena. Operationally the venue looks set to make the app a great success with bold marketing and operational tactics to ensure customers adopt it as an integral part of their visit.
