Profile:
The Ceremonies Assistant helps the Ceremonies Project Leader to plan and oversee all ceremonies at UEFA events, such as UEFA EURO 2020, the finals of the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, UEFA Women’s Champions League, UEFA Youth League, the UEFA Super Cup and the UEFA Nations League.

 

Purpose:
* Assisting the Ceremonies Project Leader with all administrative duties (contracts, budget, logistics, running orders, status reports, accreditations, meetings, payments, reporting, bookings, etc.);
* Preparing site visits and writing reports on dressing rooms for performers, pitch management, giant screens, control rooms, rehearsal pitches, green rooms, catering, etc.;
* Assisting with the delivery of the creative concept for ceremonies and FANtertainment activities;
* Overseeing logistics in cooperation with production agencies and other UEFA divisions, and in line with internal policies;
* Ensuring effective day-to-day communication with external parties: suppliers, artists, host cities, venues (booking meetings and conference calls, writing minutes, drafting emails, etc.);
* Reporting regularly on project progress, including preparation of the weekly schedule and status reports;
* Preparing and coordinating various ceremony-related activities at events:
– Ensuring a smooth communication flow with all suppliers involved;
– Updating colleagues about their activities and about any problems;
– Overseeing accreditations for events;
– Attending team meetings.

 

Requirements:

Experience required:
– from 1 to 3 years / At least two years’ experience in event or sports management in an international environment
– from 1 to 3 years / Working on multiple projects and with a variety of stakeholders

 

Languages:
– English / Proficient

– SAP / Basic
