The IAKS Congress benefits from the direct support and involvement of the International Olympic Committee and the International Paralympic Committee. This partnership is responsible for the Exemplary Awards program, the most prestigious event for recognizing exception sports and leisure design. Moreover, the congress receives official support from Sportaccord and Germany’s Ministry of the Interior.
The Congress audience is truly international and includes representatives from all levels of government, architects, engineers, designers, facility operators, and technical experts.
The IAKS Congress runs concurrently with the FSB trade show.
The FSB Trade Show
Preparations for the International Trade Fair for Amenity Areas, Sports and Pool Facilities have already begun: from 7 to 10 November 2017, FSB will open its doors in the North halls of Koelnmesse.
The bar has been set high for the FSB fair. After all, when the leading international trade fair for Amenity Areas, Sports and Pool Facilities last drew to a close, back in October 2015, international participation had increased and the atmosphere was very positive. Around 26,836 visitors from 117 countries were won over by the offerings of the 662 exhibitors from 43 countries. FSB, which was once again co-located with aquanale, the International Trade Fair for Sauna, Pool & Ambience, thereby registered clear growth in the number of visitors, with an increase of more than 7 percent. According to a representative survey, exhibitors were correspondingly satisfied with the international character, as well as the high-quality visitor profile, of the event. These evaluations correlate with the results of the visitor survey, according to which almost 90% of visitors to FSB said they were directly involved in purchasing decisions or were advising on a purchase.
