AVIXA to be Founding Partner of ALSD International Fan Experience Event in London
AVIXA™, the Audiovisual & Integrated Experience Association, has confirmed its role as Founding Partner of ALSD International; Europe’s first conference devoted entirely to the growing market for enhanced Premium Seating and Fan Experience offerings in sports stadia and arenas.
ALSD International – which is being held in Central London on October 11 and 12 – has been designed as a high-level, two-day event by the Association of Luxury Suite Directors (ALSD), which represents sports teams and venues offering premium seating, and the European Arenas Association (EAA), an association representing 31 indoor arenas in 20 European countries.
AVIXA previously announced a partnership with the ALSD in North America to raise awareness of the fan-engagement benefits created by integrated audiovisual experiences in stadium and arena design.
AVIXA Chief Executive Officer David Labuskes, CTS®, CAE, RCDD, said:
The goals of ALSD International dovetail nicely with our goal to raise awareness of the impact of audiovisual experiences in a range of customer segments. We don’t claim to be the first to tell the sports venue community that AV is a growing trend in their spaces. But we do want to share how professionally planned and executed AV systems—including new technology coming to market—can create the experiences that draw and engage fans, create customer loyalty, boost sales, or whatever outcome an organization seeks to achieve.
ALSD International in London will examine premium seating and how to increase revenue through new builds, renovations, service expansions and innovative food and beverage offerings.
Conference content will focus on extending the fan experience and offering more opportunities both inside and outside the venue walls.
Registrants will be admitted entry to two evening networking receptions, as well as a number of very special behind-the-scenes venue tours of some of the capital’s leading sports venues, with transport included, in addition to a gift bag, breakfast and lunch at the official event hotel.
The event will be held October 11 and 12, 2018, at the Amba Marble Arch Hotel in Central London.

As part of its larger partnership with the ALSD, AVIXA will host panel sessions and roundtable discussions at the 2018 ALSD Sports Venue Design & Build Forum, taking place June 25-26 in Atlanta, USA, as well as at InfoComm 2018, being held June 2-8 in Las Vegas, USA. These events will bring together representatives from teams, venues, architecture and design firms and AV integrators.
AVIXA is also sponsor of ALSD’s Spotlight Awards, which recognises leaders in stadium and arena design, including for their innovative use of audiovisual solutions in sport venues.
