PixMob LED Technology Gamifies the Fan Experience at Intuit Dome

PixMob’s LED innovations continue to redefine live sports and entertainment experiences. The cutting-edge Intuit Dome features PixMob’s NOVA Armrest, a permanent LED installation technology integrated directly into each of the arena’s 17,000 seats. 

The NOVA Armrest turns each seat into an interactive pixel of light, turning the arena into a canvas of live effects and gamified experience. The technology enables fans to interact with the arena’s acre-sized haloboard and synchronises with music, performance and on-court action.

Home of the LA Clippers in Inglewood, California, Intuit Dome opened its doors in August 2024, marking a new era of fan-centred venue design. Building on the success of its permanent integration, PixMob’s NOVA Armrest has become a driving technology behind the arena’s vision to put fans at the centre of the action – providing immersive, interactive experiences that gamify fandom and create measurable spikes in engagement and ROI for sponsors.

Now into the 2025 season, PixMob technology is powering the Clippers’ newest partnership with King’s Candy Crush – a first-of-its-kind interactive halftime activation that transforms spectators into players. Using the armrest’s built-in four-button controls, fans collectively play a custom Candy Crush game on the Intuit Dome’s massive haloboard.

This notable brand experience drove fan engagement to record levels – with crowd return-to-seat rates increasing from 50% to 75% in the second half, and underscores the potential of integrating technology to unite fans, teams and partners in live events.
