Scotland’s first purpose-built wash centre for reusable beverage and food packaging in Cumbernauld, near Glasgow, is now open. This major investment by the UK’s market leader in reusable cups, Event Cup Solutions, expands the company’s capacity to support stadia and venues across Scotland.
With established hubs in London, Bristol, Birmingham, Manchester and Middlesbrough, the new Glasgow facility boosts total wash and dry capacity to over 100 million reusable cups annually — strengthening Event Cup Solutions’ position as the UK’s leading provider of reusable cup systems for stadiums and other live event venues.
James Clark, Managing Director of Event Cup Solutions by Re-uz UK, said:
“Our new wash and logistics centre outside Glasgow opens a whole new market for us. It ensures we can deliver the same high standards of service across Scotland, supporting our goal of providing state-of-the-art reusable cup wash capabilities within 50km of every stadium we serve.”
Rising extended producer responsibility costs are driving demand for sustainable alternatives. The company’s ONE Planet ONE Chance® Reusable Cup System offers a simple, affordable rental-based solution that helps venues reduce waste and meet their environmental and sustainability targets. Event Cup Solutions manages the entire process — from delivery and on-site logistics to collection, washing, drying and redistribution — within a closed-loop system that guarantees cup accountability and traceability.
The 2026 SVB LIVE Conference & Exhibition – with its focus on elevating the live experience – is being hosted at Everton’s spectacular new Hill Dickinson Stadium on October 1st and 2nd, and will include a number of behind-the-scenes VIP Tours of some of Liverpool’s landmark venues.

Event Cup Solutions is a Climate Partner Certified company, which means clients can have full confidence in ECS environmental credentials.
Event Cup Solutions already works with some of the biggest names in sport and music, including The O2 Arena, Co-op Live, Ascot Racecourse, Lord’s Cricket Ground, Liverpool FC, Tottenham Hotspur FC, Manchester City FC, Leicester Tigers, Northampton Saints and Exeter Chiefs, to name just a few.
The strategic location of the Cumbernauld site will now enable faster, more efficient service to large stadia in Glasgow, Edinburgh and across Scotland.
