Everton will welcome Italian giants AS Roma to Merseyside for a special pre-season friendly at the Club’s new Hill Dickinson Stadium, on Saturday 9 August (3pm kick-off).
Following the hugely successful restricted capacity test events that introduced fans to the state-of-the-art ground, this fixture will be the first at Everton’s stunning waterfront home with every seat at the 52,888-capacity Hill Dickinson Stadium available – acting as both the final test event and the final pre-season outing for David Moyes’ side before the start of the 2025/26 Premier League campaign.
The fixture also marks the first opportunity for Season Ticket Members to sit in their selected 25/26 Season Ticket seats at Hill Dickinson Stadium, making it an opportunity not to be missed for thousands of Blues.
Supporters will be invited to make the most of this historic day, with The Plaza opening at 12pm.
Fans will have the chance to fully explore their new surroundings, enjoy live entertainment, and sample a wide variety of food and beverage options across The Plaza and within the concourses which will open at 1pm.

The 2025 SVB LIVE Conference & Exhibition is being held at Villa Park in Birmingham, UK, on October 6-7th. An Opening Night Icebreaker will kick things off in style on October 5th (venue TBC), and close with the SVB LIVE Awards at St. Andrew’s @ Knighthead Park on the evening of October 7th. Everton’s Head of Premium Sales, Vicky Jaycock, is a confirmed speaker and sits on the SVB LIVE Advisory Board.
