Showstop Procedure Course Webinar – A Critical New Resource for Stadium Event Safety

Safety industry experts, Steve Allen and Dr. Steve Frosdick, took part in a webinar discussion this week detailing the ShowStop® Procedure Course, fully supported and endorsed by the Pink Bows Foundation. Sports Venue Business (SVB) CEO, Katie McIntyre, moderated this session, which will soon be available as an on-demand video.

This important online session outlined why the ShowStop® Procedure Course was launched back in March 2025, and why this new framework represents a vital development for the global stadium and live event industry.

The webinar provides stadium and event professionals with essential insights into:

  • The purpose and origins of the Showstop Procedure

  • Its relevance to stadium events, including concerts and large-scale live entertainment

  • Key risks faced by stadiums that fail to implement or execute a robust Showstop Procedure

  • How this new procedure differs from traditional safety, security and operational protocols used during sporting events

  • Why the Showstop Procedure is critical not only for security and crowd safety personnel, but also for wider stadium operations teams and event-day staff

  • Examples of industry professionals and venues that have already undertaken Showstop Procedure training in 2025

With growing global attention on event safety, the Showstop Procedure provides a structured, proactive approach designed to help venues protect fans, artists, staff and stakeholders during complex live events.
