The Buffalo Bills have released eagerly anticipated renderings of how their new state of the art stadium may look when construction is complete on the other side of Abbott Road in Orchard Park come the autumn/fall of 2026.
The Bills, in conjunction with Legends and stadium architectural firm Populous, have left no stone unturned in covering every innovative element of new stadium design.
The exterior stadium image highlights the team’s desire for a visual identity that reflects some of the historical architecture of Buffalo, while also delivering a modern appearance.
The Bills Mafia’s influence on the game is undeniable — and as these latest renderings highlight, that passion is set to swell throughout the stadium. These visuals reflect early conceptual thinking on how the Bills brand and fan culture may be represented.
Progress Update
The three parties involved in the negotiating process for construction of the new Bills’ stadium released the following statement on April 4 pursuant to the completion of those negotiations:
New York State, Erie County and the Buffalo Bills are pleased to formally announce that all documents and contracts for the Bills new stadium project in Orchard Park have been signed and will be submitted to the Erie County Legislature for their 30-day review. Today marks another significant step taken as we approach a groundbreaking ceremony later this spring. We are thankful for the public/private partnerships we have shared to make this project in Western New York a reality.
All agreement documents have been submitted to the Erie County Legislature in order that that body may begin their 30-day review period.

ALSD International 2023 is being hosted at Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium, October 9-10. Optimising revenue through New Builds, Renovations & Service Expansions is the key focus of this industry-leading event, with architecture & design, fan experience, hospitality, premium seating sales & service, sustainability and technology taking centre stage.
The Project
The project includes a new 1.35 million GSF open-air stadium, 18,750 SF ancillary building, demolition of the current stadium, and related site development. The stadium’s capacity will be a minimum of 60,000 seats with an expandable capacity to hold special events. Premium areas will include suites, loge seats, clubs, and other premium seating products.
The stadium will include state-of-the-art video and scoreboards, sound system, administrative and event staff offices and lockers, broadcast facilities, team store, locker rooms, food service kitchens and concessions, signage, sports lighting, maintenance, and storage areas, plaza, parking, and site landscaping.
The Team
The joint venture team of Gilbane | Turner, in association with 34 Group and Arc Building Partners, was selected by the Buffalo Bills to provide construction management services for their new NFL Stadium at Orchard Park. The full project team also includes the project management firm, Legends Project Development, and Populous as the designer.
