Hunden Strategic Partners delivered its 3rd annual State of the Industry – International report during the 2022 edition of ALSD International. Matthew Avila, HSP’s Project Manager, discussed what facilities are going up, trends in different sports and facility types, and shared insightful new industry research.
Hunden Strategic Partners (HSP) has worked on more than 800 projects and processes, with more than US$6bn in projects built since 1996. The Chicago-based firm offers extensive experience in the economics of placemaking, primarily via transformative real estate projects, such as mixed-use stadium districts.
HSP has provided economic development, market and financial feasibility, impact, developer selection and planning expertise for more than 650 projects and studies over the past 20+ years, totalling more than $4.5bn in developed real estate. Projects include major league football, baseball, hockey, basketball, soccer, golf and motorsport venues.
During the 2022 SOTI – International presentation, HSP’s Matthew Avila reported that more than €11bn in major international sports projects is currently finishing or underway (~€6.5 bn in the last three years).
