In this latest interview, we hear from Ryan McCumber, Program Director, HYPE Sports Innovation Global Virtual Accelerator and Board Advisor on the latest GVA 2.0.
Ryan outlines how in this new reality, sports need innovation more than ever, which was why, back in early 2020, HYPE Sports Innovation teamed up with the biggest sports brands to create the first GVA with the mission of solving the sports industry’s real challenges in this new reality brought about by the pandemic.
Moving on from the inaugural GVA, which boasted some 13 world-renowned brands, clubs and federations, the second edition has increased three-fold, with some 32 partners including Federation Française de Football (FFF), DFL Deutsche Fußball Liga, Atlanta Hawks, Minnesota Vikings, 1.FC Köln, Philadelphia Phillies, Real Sociedad, Wolves, PGA Tour, Cruzados SADP and Vegas Golden Knights.
