MAJOR SPORTS VENUE &/OR MAJOR SPORTING EVENTS PROJECTS:
Cardiff’s Principality Stadium staged both of Anthony Joshua’s World Title boxing matches. These televised events required Star to supply an elaborate Mothergrid arrangement rigged directly to the retractable roof for over-ring rigging facilities.
On the other side of the world, the Shanghai Mercedes-Benz Arena has an extensive gallery level serving its sports commitments, which include NBA and NFL games. The retrofitting of Star Events’ semi-automated house reduction system is quite literally a game changer for the venue. It can deploy nearly 5,000sq m of drapes in minutes, without any Work at Height in the 34m high space, to achieve a more intimate event experience downstairs.
