Edgbaston’s hosting of the 2018 NatWest T20 Blast Finals Day has been named on the shortlist for the inaugural Leaders Sports Awards.
Edgbaston’s hosting of the 2017 NatWest T20 Blast Finals Day has been named on the shortlist for the inaugural Leaders Sports Awards; the global search for companies and individuals who are shaping the future of sport.
Finals Day at Edgbaston was named as one of six shortlisted entries for the Live Experience Award by expert panel of more than 100+ senior industry executives, including Alex Green, Managing Director, Amazon Prime Video – Channels & Sport, Europe, Amazon; Lisa Baird, Chief Marketing Officer, United States Olympic Committee (USOC); Patrick Pierce, Vice President, Marketing Partnerships, Etihad Airways; Amy Lee, Senior Director, Media Distribution, NBA; and Ricardo Fort, Vice President, Global Sports Partnerships, Coca-Cola.

Year one of the Awards has been highly competitive and we’re overwhelmed with the number of quality entries we’ve received.
Over 400 entries from 28 countries were received in the nine-month process, with 30 submissions making the final shortlist for this year in the categories – Content Creation, Innovation, Live Experience, On Screen Experience and Sponsorship.
The celebration for the Leaders Sports Awards will take place on 9 October 2018 at the iconic Natural History Museum, London, the evening promises networking and entertainment, where the winners of each category will be crowned in front of 600 senior industry executives and special guests.
