The Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) and Venuetize today announced that the LAFC Mobile App is available for download on iPhone and Android devices. The LAFC Mobile App is a central part of the team’s mobile-first technology strategy.
As part of the team’s commitment to delivering an innovative fan experience, LAFC’s home, Banc of California Stadium, is being built to deliver unprecedented connectivity. The LAFC Mobile App, developed by Venuetize, is designed to offer an easy way for guests to interact with the stadium and the team, and personalise their experience both at games, and throughout the year.
LAFC EVP & Chief Business Officer, Larry Freedman, said:
Through the LAFC Mobile App, we can enhance the fan and supporter experience and offer a deeper connection to the club. Venuetize’s mobile-first approach, and the flexibility they offer to expand the application as we begin our inaugural season made them the right partner for developing this application.
At launch, the LAFC Mobile App will make it easy for fans to access information on their smartphones about the team schedule, roster and bios. Additional features and functionality, designed to make it easy for fans to interact with the team and the stadium year-round, will be rolled out over the coming months.
Karri Zaremba, Co-Founder & COO of Venuetize said:
We are honored to be working with LAFC to develop their mobile strategy, beginning with this initial phase of the LAFC Mobile App. LAFC supporters have played an important role in the development of this club and stadium from the very beginning and they’ve been involved in the development of the LAFC app. The Venuetize platform is designed to support a wide range of services and third-party integrations that ensure every fan at Banc of California Stadium will have a personalized guest experience.
LAFC will play its first home game at Banc of California Stadium on April 29.
