FOOTBALL BUSINESS Spring Summit, an inspiring day for football business professionals in Vienna

More than 200 attendees from clubs and leagues from across Europe and experts from the sports business will come together at Allianz Stadion, home of SK Rapid, on February 27 to network and share know-how.

The FOOTBALL BUSINESS Spring Summit wants to be different by focusing on practical work and knowledge sharing through 90-minute-long masterclasses and working groups. Groups of 20 to 40 professionals will get inspired and gain insights from experts like Philipp Liesenfeld (1. FC Cologne), Bas Schnater (formerly of AZ Alkmaar) and Panagiotis Aroniadis (PAOK FC).

Ask your specific questions and work on them together with peers and experts and go back to your club or organisation with new ideas which you can use in your day-to-day work. Next to that, keynotes will provide a view on the current state of the industry and the panel discussion on the future of domestic European Football Leagues will give an exclusive view into the developments of international football.

The Spring Summit is all about solving problems, answering concrete questions and actively working out solutions. There will be input in the form of keynotes, interviews on stage and panel discussions. But at least as important are the interactive parts – masterclasses and working groups. In these 90-minute sessions, real topics and problems are worked on interactively in smaller groups. The aim is to gain insights, learn and implement things, allowing attendees to take as much input as possible with them for their daily work.

Fan Engagement Workshop

After the Summit, on February 28, Bas Schnater will host a fan engagement workshop, allowing participants to actively engage and work out a strategy for their club. The 3-hour workshop is limited to a maximum of 25 participants, so make sure to secure your place before it’s too late!

Attendees from more than 15 countries are expected to participate in the Spring Summit and come together to learn and network.
