The Institute of National Anti-Doping Organisations (iNADO) is seeking a new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The present CEO will step down at the end of 2019, or sooner if feasible.

 

iNADO is the international member body for National Anti-Doping Organisations funded by Member subscriptions, occasionally by grants from sporting and governmental bodies and other organisations, and by partnerships with anti-doping suppliers.

 

67 National Anti-Doping Organisations (NADOs) are now Members of iNADO. (iNADO members are responsible for over 90% of all testing done by NADOs and more than 60% of total testing done internationally.)

 

iNADO offers its CEO a leading international role in serving and protecting clean athletes and clean sport. The Institute has an enthusiastic and supportive membership, and the expectation of additional Members. It enjoys a strong financial foundation and expects to attract additional funds in the near future.

 

The CEO reports to an experienced international volunteer Board of Directors comprised of well-known anti-doping leaders from a variety of fields. iNADO has 2 multi-lingual full-time staff in addition to the CEO. Its offices are in Bonn, Germany, and are shared with the National Anti-Doping Agency of Germany.

 

JOB TITLE: Chief Executive Officer

 

REPORTS TO: Chair of the Governing Board of the Institute of National Anti-Doping Organisations

 

JOB PURPOSE:

To lead and manage the Institute of National Anti-Doping Organisations (iNADO) toward its Vision of Clean Sport Together, and to realize its Mission of enabling NADOs to speak with one international voice, and sharing best practices by National Anti-Doping Organisations (NADOs).

 

JOB DIMENSIONS:

iNADO has a budget of between US$300,000 and 400,000 per year, and a current full time staff of three, including the CEO.

 

The Institute is incorporated and, while currently registered in the United Kingdom will, from 2020 be constituted under the laws of Germany. It is based in Bonn.

 

While the position reports to the Chair (currently based in Copenhagen, Denmark), in practical terms, there is a strong working relationship, particularly on business matters, with the National Anti-Doping Agency of Germany, which leases office space to iNADO.
