New Consulting Service launched for the Sports and Entertainment industries
Lunar has announced a new consulting service created to meet the data-intensive needs of the sports and entertainment industries.
Lunar’s new service allows sports venues, concert venues and others issuing tickets to dramatically improve ticket sales by leveraging the data collected through their ticketing platforms.
Venues selling tickets for their events face a common problem: rich data, but a missing link between that data and their CRM and marketing tools. To bridge this gap, Lunar – a Salesforce consulting and SaaS technology company that automates and integrates technology to get more out of a business’s existing sales and marketing – created TicketBeam, a SaaS tool that leverages ticketing platform data to help companies easily segment customers, create targeted campaigns, enhance marketing automation processes and improve reporting.
Lunar launched this new service and tool following a successful project with Florida Citrus Sports (FCS), which hosts some of Central Florida’s largest sporting events, including the Citrus Bowl, Camping World Bowl, and the Camping World Kickoff, where the Florida Gators and Miami Hurricanes will hold their 2019 season opener.
Lunar implemented TicketBeam to provide FCS with data integration services that informed social media and email marketing campaigns and boosted college football bowl game ticket sales even before the teams were announced. Lunar continued the momentum up until game day, while maintaining ticket pricing integrity.

Implementing TicketBeam and Lunar’s Salesforce Marketing Cloud consulting services, Monterey Peninsula Foundation leverages the data within its ticketing platform to drive ticket sales and sponsorships.
Anyone who sells tickets – pro sports teams, college teams, golf tournaments, concert venues, theatrical productions, etc. – can work with Lunar to:
- Target customers and drive purchases – TicketBeam uses past purchase history to identify and target customer segments. Organisations can leverage that data within Salesforce to create targeted marketing campaigns based on purchase behavior and customer attributes.
- Improve engagement – Lunar clients can optimise their marketing campaigns by using TicketBeam to target potential customers based on event purchases. Lunar helps ticketing organisations integrate their data with Pardot, Marketing Cloud, Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
- Add data to contact records – Ticketing organisations can visualise historic and new ticket purchases for all contacts and view individual contact profiles. They can also access and report on demographic data natively within Salesforce.
