LFP (Ligue de Football Professionnel) partners with Content Stadium

Content Stadium, the content creation platform for the sports industry, partners with LFP, the French professional football league, which manages Ligue 1, Ligue 2 and the Coupe de la Ligue.

France’s Ligue de Football Professionnel (LFP) has chosen Content Stadium to strengthen its social media strategy and to optimise the content creation process.

With both animated templates and templates with statistics, the digital team of LFP meets the increasing demand of the football fans for faster and more profound information about the French competitions.

To import real-time match and player stats into the templates, Content Stadium connects with the API of STATS, LFP’s official statistics partner. This way, LFP can create social media graphics and animations including real-time and historical statistics in less than a minute.

Christophe Charmoille, Chief Digital Officer of LFP, said:

Increasing social reach and fan engagement on our main channels is a key objective in LFP digital strategy. With the help of the Content Stadium, we have the opportunity to share our real-time data bundled through our channels in the form of high-quality graphics and video’s. By integrating the sports data that we collect together with our partner STATS, we aim for a significant increase in the quality of our social media channels and exciting content for our fans. We believe Content Stadium will become an essential tool in our social media strategy.

Benjamin Blot, Director France of Content Stadium, said:

With more than 3 million fans on social media, the French Ligue 1 is one of the most followed football leagues in the world. This collaboration shows again that international top federations are eager to work with Content Stadium. This year alone international sports organisations like Roland Garros, the Belgian Olympic and Interfederal Committee, DKB Handball Bundesliga and the International Fencing Federation (FIE) teamed up with Content Stadium.

Content Stadium is a content creation platform, empowering editorial teams of sports organisations to instantly create and publish visuals, animations and videos for social media. With one click statistics can be integrated into the content thanks to partnerships with data providers such as Gracenote, OPTA, Sportradar and STATS. Content Stadium is used by sports leagues, federations, clubs, media and brands.
