As part of the Connacht Stadium Development Plan, Connacht Rugby have commissioned Deloitte to carry out a stadium composition study.

The study will aim to determine the optimum capacity, seating mix, premium facilities, technology and alternative use opportunities of a stadium in the future. It will involve a market analysis of core usage and corporate demand, non-match day potential through market research and consultations with the fans, the public and the business community.

A key component of this study is an in-depth survey of supporters to objectively assess and make recommendations as to the composition of a stadium for Connacht Rugby. The survey will be circulated online through Connacht Rugby’s website and social media channels.

This survey will take about 15 minutes to complete. Fans’ input will “help improve our facilities, for you, our fans”.

By completing the survey, which can be found online at: fans will also be entered into a prize draw to win:

  1. A pair of Connacht season tickets for the 2018/2019 season
  2. A Connacht home shirt signed by members of the first team
  3. Hospitality for two at a Connacht home match of your choice

The composition study is being launched following an international tendering process, from which the Sports Division of Deloitte emerged. Deloitte has extensive experience in stadium development projects having worked on previous projects such as the Feasibility Study for the new Belgium National Stadium. The survey will be available for completion over the next few weeks.
