Unilumin presents an A/V feast at the 17th FINA Championships

The FINA World Championships is one of the largest sporting events in the world in terms of participation and global exposure and the 2017 tournament – being held in Budapest and Balatonfüred from July 14th to 30th – will be no exception. Unilumin is assisting the audiences in presenting the action and allowing athletes to enjoy the sporting moments down to the last detail with their advanced Sports Rental LED display product—UpadⅢ.

Unilumin faced a huge challenge in terms of supporting approximately 1,700sqm’s worth of UpandⅢ05 screens and 160sqm’s worth of UpadⅢ2 screens, which are distributed around five competition locations and 12 river locations, serving numerous audiences and athletes from diverse countries.

A fantastic Opening Ceremony of the 17th FINA World Championships took place in the Magyar capital on July 15, using the water projections throughout the entire show.

With “Water is our world” being the slogan of the FINA World Championships, Unilumin needed a waterproof LED display product, which is more durable under the environment of high light and moisture, with their UpadⅢ system being exactly the professional LED display screen that meets the need of both waterproof and ultraviolet-proof.

A famous athlete at the 17th FINA World Championships, Laszlo Cseh, has said that the most important for him is to enjoy swimming; a sentiment every spectator at the event would agree with, as no one wants to miss any important information, like placings and stats, while watching the competition.

Unilumin’s UpadⅢ05 and UpadⅢ2 provide exceptional image quality, with the high contrast ration of 3000:1, refresh rate of 3840 HZ, and high grey scale of 16 bit. In addition, the UpadⅢ is designed for alternative indoor and outdoor uses, and benefits from convenience of installation and disassembly. The light and slim package also saves the cost of transportation.
